About Us

Hi there! I'm Kulirma, a mom to two kids and two fur babies and a Physician Assistant in North Carolina. I started Elebaby during my maternity leave with my second little one on the way in 2024. What started as a means to keep my mind active while on bed rest, I discovered my creative passion beyond work and home.

Business is not an unfamiliar territory in our family but starting this company with two little ones has brought a lot of challenges, a lot of ups and downs, and a huge leap of faith and purpose. I took a step back from my normal busy PA career lifestyle, and decided to also embrace this exciting journey with the help of my family and to follow my heart with every decision I make.

ONCE UPON A TIME WITH ELEBABY

Originally launched in 2024 as "Little Peanut Shop," our store began by offering developmental toys for all ages. Eager to explore the wide range of the e-commerce world, we started with dropshipping, testing the waters in various categories.

It wasn’t until after the birth of my daughter did my vision for our concept store take place. Struggling to find the softest fabrics and a unique collection of apparel lead me to change what I wanted for the store.

Little Peanut Shop was rebranded as Elebaby, with a renewed focus on providing high-quality clothing, unique accessories, gear, toys, sustainably made furniture and decor.

With a carefully selected list of brands (including our own) our store offers high quality products with a twist while offering a unique experience. So very time you visit, you may discover something you haven't seen before!

Introducing

Our Goals

Each year Elebaby aims to donate a portion of our earnings to the a nonprofit craniofacial organization whose dedicated to advancing clinical care and research for individuals affected by cleft and craniofacial conditions. Elebaby will also donate to an additional nonprofit organization for children that will be voted by our subscribers each year.

Craniosynostosis is a rare condition that prematurely fuses one or more cranial sutures in children, affecting skull growth and leading to craniofacial differences. My son, Kian, was born with craniosynostosis and had his first surgery at three months old, followed by another surgery when he was one year old.

Children with cleft palate or craniofacial conditions often undergo multiple complex surgeries and therapies throughout their lives, facing challenges that can impact their self-confidence and social interactions.

Having experience in adult and pediatric neurosurgery as a PA, I was able to recognize my son's condition early, which is not always the case for others. Many children are diagnosed later, making their surgeries more complicated. My son received his surgeries at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC. He has undergone over a year of cranial helmeting, physical and occupational therapy, speech therapy, and ongoing care from neurosurgery, plastic surgery, ENT, and neuro-ophthalmology specialists.

What started as a general idea for a children’s boutique during my maternity leave has grown into a deeper mission. Elebaby embodies a pure commitment to making a meaningful impact in the world, starting with our support for organizations that aim to bring awareness and assistance for children and families affected by craniofacial conditions. While Elebaby may be small, it holds significant potential to raise awareness and contribute to many causes for children that matter.
